How to Survive Black Friday

First things first if you haven’t bought a new HDTV yet you are really missing out on a great experience. With our current economic crisis in the dump right now HDTVs are at a all time low for prices. But don’t be fooled by imitation TV sets, if you want to get the most bang for your buck by name brand. For a few extra bucks you can get a trusted good quality set that will last.

Step one, is an easy one, go to the store and just look at the selection of TVs. See which one makes the picture look the most life like that will fit into your budget. Do you want plasma or an LCD? There are many pros and cons to both formats. You need to look at which own suits your needs.

Step two what size do you want, greater or less than 40 inch? Any thing less than 40 inch you can save a lot of money by getting a 720p set opposed to getting the 1080p one. At that size you can’t even tell the difference. But if you go big definitely spend the extra money to get the full HD.

Step three pick between plasma, LCD, and DLP. If you want to go big and go over 50inches DLP is your cheapest bet. They now have a great picture but you have a smaller viewing angle compared to the others. Plasmas on the other hand have the best picture quality out there but are big energy hogs. LCD to me is the best of both worlds it has a great picture and has all the features you need. And also is the most energy efficient of the three.

Step four hooking up peripherals. When it comes to HD components you always will need HDMI cables. Instead of wasting your money on extremely high priced cables at the store look to online retailers to give you a great deal. I suggest stores like MonoPrice.com and Amazon.com for great HD cable deals.

So good luck on upgrade you home to high definition and hope my tips help you make a decision and save you a little bit of money.
